People don't question at all. They all think she is amazing and so well behaved. She doesn't act like a 5 month old puppy, more like one about to turn in.
People hardly notice she is there, only noticing her when we move and her tags clink.
In any case, no one has ever said anything negative, or given me weird looks, but she doesn't really look or act like a puppy in public. She saves her puppyness for when we are home.
